The JASCO MV-3000 Series Portable UV?Visible/NIR Spectrophotometer is a compact, modular spectrophotometer optimised for in-situ and high-throughput optical measurements. With a bright optical configuration (f-number 3.5) and multi-channel detector, it can capture a full spectrum in as fast as 5 ms, and sustain up to 1,000 consecutive measurements — making it ideal for applications such as production-line monitoring, thin film reflectance/transmittance, turbidity analysis, stopped-flow kinetics, real-time colour diagnostics or emission evaluation. Its rugged, portable design allows measurements outside a traditional lab bench, while selectable wavelength ranges (depending on model) enable flexibility across UV, visible and NIR applications.

The MV-3500 Modular UV-Visible/NIR Spectrophotometer has several different wavelength options for varied applications. It also has different source options to match the spectrophotometer (or has no source for applications that study luminous emissions). Fibre optics are used extensively for many different sampling options from fermentation tanks to production lines or in-situ color measurement, water quality testing, etc. Spectra Manager™ Suite has many application programs that can be used in dedicated applications such as color analysis, film thickness, quantitation, and chemometrics.
